We are well into the summer, some may be finding it hard to stick to that summer body diet – but it can be easier if you allow yourself a treat.
And one expert has explained how you can still eat treats and lose weight.

Andy Nevin, who posts under @andynevv, took to TikTok to share his favorite Aldi snacks, that won’t pile on the calories.
He shared low calorie chocolate, crisps, ice-creams, cakes, bread and alcohol items from Aldi.
The personal trainer explained that you can still lose weight, eating low-calorie treats.
He said: “Instead of eliminating all your favorite treats this summer in a desperate bid to lose fat – only to give up after three days – why not consider managing your consumption much better?”


First up is chocolate mini rolls at 116 calories, costing €1.79 for a packet.
“You can eat chocolate biscuits and ice cream each day and blues bar. Once you get the portion size on point.
Andy then shares 200ml bottles of prosecco that are 134-138 calories and cost $3.99.
He said: “You can enjoy a drink here and there and still lose fat.”
He also finds a 750ml bottle of Featherweight wine at just 300-330 calories per bottle. They come in white and rose, costing just €4.49.

Chocolate lovers can munch on a Cadbury’s snack bar (114 calories) or a milk chocolate tea cake (106 calories).
For bread lovers, Andy finds Brennan’s Be Good bread at 60 calories per slice, costing €2.03.
The ultimate summer treat is a milk lolly with only 30 calories per pop.
Aldi also has their own brand selection of low-calorie ice creams, similar to Tangle Twisters (46 calories) and calippos (48 calories).
If you like chomping on crisps, the personal trainer shares Satin Crunch crisps with only 84 calories per bag.
SOME TREATS
Andy explained that a lot of his clients make progress by allowing themselves to have some treats each day.
He continued: “For a lot of them it helps keep them on track knowing if they want to have a bar or a biscuit with a cup of tea they can do so – it’s not a criminal offence.”
Andy finds milk chocolate popcorn bars at 80 calories.
Next up is a Galaxy chocolate drink at just 36 calories.
And the fitness guru even finds MacN’Cheese bites and mozzarella sticks at 44 calories.
The fitness coach said that “adherence is the most important aspect” of any diet.


And by allowing yourself a treat can keep you motivated without feeling deprived.
He added: “The truth is if you can’t stick to it, it’s not worth much good to you.”
